Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and can’t run on our network — and exactly how we handle abuse reports.
- Your server, your resources — within the law
- No attacks, spam, malware, phishing or illegal content
- Notice and time to fix before any suspension, except urgent cases
- 7 days to export your data after a suspension, where the law allows
01
Why this policy exists
Our network, IP addresses and reputation are shared by every customer. This policy keeps them clean and fast for everyone, and tells you upfront how we react when something goes wrong.
02
Prohibited uses
You may not use our services to:
- store, send or link to child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance, reported to the authorities;
- run or control malware, botnets or command-and-control servers;
- phish, defraud or impersonate others;
- send unsolicited bulk email or host spam-advertised content;
- attack third parties: DDoS, brute-force, unauthorised port scanning or exploitation;
- run open proxies, open mail relays or Tor exit relays;
- infringe copyrights or trademarks, or host content that is illegal where it is served;
- spoof IP or MAC addresses, use IPs not assigned to you, or disrupt our network.
03
Bulk email must be opt-in, identify the sender and honour unsubscribe requests promptly. If we receive repeated spam reports, we may restrict outbound port 25 on the server concerned until the issue is fixed.
04
Resources and bandwidth
Your CPU, memory and drives are dedicated to you. Bandwidth is unmetered: there is no monthly quota and no overage bill. Traffic that harms the network or third parties — attacks, floods, amplification — is not permitted.
05
How we handle abuse reports
We forward valid reports to you and ask for a fix or an explanation within 24 hours. Repeated or serious violations can lead to suspension. For active attacks, malware distribution or clearly illegal content we may null-route the affected IP immediately to protect the network, then contact you.
06
Getting your data back
After a suspension we give you 7 days of rescue-mode access to copy your data, unless the law requires us to preserve or remove it, or the content is clearly illegal.
07
Reporting abuse
Report abuse through our abuse form with the IP address, timestamps in UTC and evidence such as log excerpts or email headers. Copyright notices must identify the work and the infringing material.
