FAQ

Switching from Contabo, answered.

Prices, payment and migration.

How support works
Is it really the same processor as Contabo’s Turin 32?

Yes: both use the AMD EPYC 9355P, with 32 Zen 5 cores, a 3.55 GHz base clock and up to 4.4 GHz boost, and 128 GB of DDR5 ECC. Our D32 adds twice the NVMe (2 × 1.92 TB against 2 × 1 TB) and an unmetered 10 Gbps port instead of 1 Gbps fair use.

How much do I save per year?

At list prices checked on 13 October 2026, $446/mo against $199/mo: $2,964 per year.

Can I pay with crypto instead of a card?

Yes: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, USDT on TRON (TRC-20) or Solana, with up to +50% top-up bonus. Contabo’s help center states that cryptocurrencies are not accepted.

How do I move my server from Contabo?

Deploy the matching server in the location closest to your users — it’s online in under 5 minutes. Copy your data over SSH with rsync or restore your backups, test, lower your DNS TTL and switch your records. Keep the old server until everything is verified, then cancel it.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No. Billing is monthly from your account balance, with $0 setup. Turn auto-renew off at any time and the server runs until the end of the paid month.
