A whole server for less than their RAM upgrade.

Our price per GB includes the processor, NVMe, bandwidth and DDoS protection. Elsewhere, the memory option alone costs more.

Built for memory

What a terabyte of RAM is for.

When the working set fits in memory, disks stop being the bottleneck. These workloads gain the most.

  • Databases

PostgreSQL shared buffers, MySQL buffer pools or ClickHouse caches that hold the whole hot dataset.

  • In-memory stores

Redis, Valkey or Memcached clusters with hundreds of gigabytes per node.

  • Analytics

Spark, DuckDB and pandas jobs that load entire datasets into RAM.

  • Virtualization

Proxmox VE or KVM hosts that give every VM real memory, without overcommitting.

  • Solana RPC

Anza recommends 512 GB or more for RPC nodes with all account indexes.

  • AI inference on CPU

Large quantized models served straight from RAM on Zen 5 cores with AVX-512.

Memory platform

Bandwidth to match the capacity.

AMD EPYC 9005 processors have 12 DDR5 memory channels each — 24 in our dual-socket servers.

  • 12 channelsDDR5 per socket, 24 on the D192 and D256
  • 614 GB/sPeak memory bandwidth per socket (AMD)
  • ECC RDIMMError-correcting, registered server memory
  • Up to 2.3 TBIn a single D256, with 512 threads

FAQ

High-memory servers, answered.

ECC, NUMA, upgrades and price per GB.

Compare all servers
Why ECC memory?

Error-correcting code memory detects and fixes single-bit errors on the fly. On servers with hundreds of gigabytes of RAM running for months, that protects databases and virtual machines from silent corruption and crashes.

Which server is the best value per GB of RAM?

Among servers in stock, the D96 offers 768 GB of DDR5 ECC for $849/mo — $1.11 per GB, with 96 cores, 15.36 TB of NVMe and an unmetered 25 Gbps port included.

Single or dual socket for memory-heavy workloads?

Single-socket servers keep all memory one hop from every core. Dual-socket servers (D192, D256) double capacity and bandwidth with 24 memory channels; NUMA-aware software — most databases and hypervisors — makes the most of them.

Can I add more RAM to a server?

Our configurations are fixed so that every price stays public and low. For more memory, move to a bigger plan: open an “Upgrade” ticket from your client area and our team migrates you in a scheduled window.

Is 768 GB enough for a Solana RPC node?

Anza recommends 512 GB or more of RAM for an RPC node with all account indexes, plus a base clock of 2.8 GHz or more. Our D64 (576 GB, 3.2 GHz base) is built for that; our 96-core servers run at a 2.6 GHz base clock.
