Ethereum node hardware

Ethereum node requirements.

ethereum.org recommends 8+ cores, 64 GB of RAM and a 4 TB NVMe SSD to run a full node and validate. The D48 clears every line with room for several clients. Archive nodes need far more storage: 12 TB+ with Geth or Nethermind, 2.5 TB+ with Erigon, 2.2 TB+ with Reth — the D96 has 15.36 TB of NVMe in RAID 0.

Pay with ETH

How to pay with Ethereum.

Your balance is kept in US dollars. You choose the amount, we show the exact ETH to send — the rate is locked while you pay.

  1. Native ETH on Ethereum mainnetNot from a layer-2 network such as Arbitrum, Optimism or Base, and not as an ERC-20 token: those aren’t credited automatically.
  2. Credited in 2–5 minutesYour balance is credited automatically once the transaction is confirmed.
  3. Send the exact amountCopy it or scan the QR code. If you send too little, the payment page shows what’s missing.

FAQ

Ethereum payments, answered.

Timing, networks, refunds and the servers to pick.

All crypto options
Which server should I choose for an Ethereum validator?

The D48. ethereum.org recommends a fast CPU with 8+ cores, 64 GB of RAM and a 4 TB NVMe SSD to validate; the D48 has 48 Zen 5 cores, 256 GB of DDR5 ECC and 7.68 TB of NVMe in RAID 0, with an unmetered 10 Gbps port.

Can I run an Ethereum archive node?

Yes. ethereum.org lists 12 TB+ for an archive node with Geth, Nethermind or Besu, 2.5 TB+ with Erigon and 2.2 TB+ with Reth, plus about 200 GB for the consensus client. The D96 has four 3.84 TB NVMe drives — 15.36 TB in RAID 0 — and 768 GB of RAM.

Can I pay with USDC or other ERC-20 tokens?

No. We accept native ETH on Ethereum mainnet; for a stablecoin, use USDT on TRON (TRC-20). Tokens or layer-2 transfers sent to an Ethereum payment address aren’t credited automatically.

What if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

If you send too little, the payment page shows exactly what’s missing so you can complete the payment. A payment sent on another network or as a different token isn’t credited automatically and may be lost: always check the coin and network shown on your payment page before you send.

Is my balance refundable?

Your balance pays for new servers and monthly renewals. It isn’t refundable as such, except when we can’t deliver a server you paid for: a server not delivered within 24 hours, or faulty on delivery and not fixed within 24 hours, is refunded in full. Top-up bonus credit is never paid out.

Can I pay by card?

Card payments are currently unavailable. You can top up in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, USDT on TRON (TRC-20) or Solana.
